One of my favourite subjects to photograph are young dancers.  They are full of passion, energy and innocence.
The majority of the pieces below were created using a method of composition where I shoot the miniature set and then separately shoot the dancer in a studio and then finally composite them together in Photoshop.
A few are just experiments in Photoshop compositing, while others were just shot outside after sunset on a hill.
I hope you take the time to click through to see the larger version of each.
Prints are available for purchase.  Consider framing it in an art gallery style or having it printed on canvas.

This is the young dancer who has been gracious enough to model for my Dance Studio project.I caught this image between takes it was so compelling on it's own I chose to finish it as is.

This shot is straight out of camera :) While you might think getting a shot of the moon’s power cord was the tough part, it was actually getting into position to take the shot that was the hardest.I had to stand on a scaffolding made of 2X4’s extending from the cliff face while my assistant stood on the other side to keep the whole thing from collapsing.Needless to say I was able to quickly snap the shot and dash back to safety.Inspired by internet tutorial
